Charles is my name, and aMusephotographer is my moniker. I am a husband to a wonderful wife and father of two lovely children. I follow the philosophy to "seize the moment, focus on love". Fueled by the hope that the pictures will serve as valuable mementos for my clients to admire and remember upon throughout their lives, I strive to seize every precious moment possible, focusing on the love between them and their loved ones - the loving hugs and kisses, spontaneous moments, and uninhibited expressions. The best moments and expressions are captured without having to direct, and poses are kept minimum during portraiture sessions. My style evolves with the endeavor to outdo myself with every assignment, without being steered by current cliches.

Through every time with the customer's communication, to understand their life and emotional experience, from which to extract some realistic basis, a special significance of the shooting scene, in a relaxed and natural shooting atmosphere to capture those feelings of emotional moments, that is Our studio's documentary style shoots the idea. We hope that by repeating the real moments of the moment, the real picture of one by one, the real story of one by one, and the real life of the section; we hope that years later, when you read these photos again, you Will feel re-live again.

Aht Yomyai to be selected as an official ASEAN photographer , it is an assignment which I am most proud of. It was just a minute but real pressure. I love colour, people, and light and feel most inspired when these three magically match. Photos that move me, images that capture something of the subject's soul - this is what I am drawn to. To show the beauty that is in everyone - with all their highlights and shadows - is what I love to do. I believe in honesty and authenticity. When people are willing to let down their walls and expectations around perfection, magic happens. Real beauty becomes visible, their stories, their uniqueness and laughter shine. I want to capture moments in a way that takes you right back to how you felt right then, that makes you feel something. Document your story, your life here and now, in your happy places and your home. My sessions are fun and playful and most of all-natural. Nothing like the stiff and cheesy photography most of us know well from the past. No one needs to behave or pose in weird ways. I’m sure you have enough “smile at the camera” shots on your phone. But how many photos do you have of you in it or even of the entire family that are not posed? That are the real you, the you being together the way you are, right now? These are the images that will be so much more interesting and precious in the years to come.

Ever since I was a teenager, I have always enjoyed taking pictures with the camera my dad passed onto me, capturing the things, people and places around me. In 2007, I decided to turn this passion of mine into my career. Since then I have been shooting weddings, engagements, special events, family, kids and babies. I love telling stories with my camera, and my pictures demonstrated my characteristic style and unique perspective, simple yet elegant. I take great pride to apply my skills and talent to document the important and precious moments of life of my clients into lasting fine art pictures. It gives me great satisfaction to be able to capture these memories for my clients so they can cherish a lifetime.

With self-study "thanks to the Internet" and financial support from my family I got my first DSLR Then I decided that I'll not pursue a career with my college degree instead I started working as a photojournalist for a while back in 2011 as the Arab Spring rises in my country "Egypt" and I was there to document the Egyptian revolution through my lens. I believe that the best stories are the ones that are true, told with energy, genuineness, humor and a little bit of poetry. I am a documentary family photographer and mother to a toddler. Also having been an elementary school speech therapist means I am extremely observant and patient, acutely aware of mischief, and constantly dealing with situations bursting with hilarity, chaos and sticky hands & hugs. This photography business came from an intersection of so many different aspects of my life – my love for traveling and subsequently, being invited into peoples’ homes; my fascination with National Geographic stories; my research into my grandparents’ immigration history; my interest in all things behind-the-scenes. When I discovered family documentary photography, it’s like all these pieces clicked from these seemingly disconnected sources and allowed me to do everything simultaneously – live alongside people in a day in their life; create heirlooms for families so that grandchildren wouldn’t have to work so hard to know where they came from; to make personal documentaries for people who might never appear in National Geographic but have still lived a life worth living. To me, documenting the everyday in this way is like receiving permission to draw stories out of strangers, and to create family photographs reflecting life itself: a series of interactions that make up the totality of a human life, much more than the words that make up a story, the cascade of moments making up your day that deserve to be documented, and the sense of "home" and the love that surrounds you daily. I think our world has been very loud about how we/our children should be (act/look/behave), and through my experience shooting 200+ families, I have found that the perfection that the family portrait strives for is typically attained after a sweaty stressfest. If you are looking for an alternative, I believe that family photojournalism is all about authenticity and unreluctant vulnerability, and being able to remember how you felt (exasperated, relieved, joyful, expectant, or like you love your kids so fiercely you feel like your heart is going to burst) instead of how you wanted to look (sorry Pinterest!). When not photographing families and small businesses, you can find me trying to Konmari my tiny house, chasing my toddler, being a first class navigator to my husband on a family road trip, or looking for local gems in pockets of Los Angeles.
I’m Ksenia, professional photographer since 2013, based in Moscow, Russia. "Why family photography?", you may ask. Thanks to my ancestors I inherited vast photo archive of my own family, so that grand and even grand-grand parents’ lives were known to me since childhood. That’s why I always believed that documentary photography could be a real base for a family to identify itself so. My promise, as you family photographer, is to capture beauty of everyday life moments that your life goes through. So that your grand-grand children could open up family album and meet you as if it happened in a real life. Speaking about education, I have a degree in sociology obtained in Moscow, Russia and CAP photography diploma obtained in Paris, France. So if you speak Russian, English or French we’ll definitely find a common language :)
I realised with a sinking heart that I have very few images of me being a mother when my kids were babies. But I know this is what inspires me to photograph 'in the trenches' for other mothers. I want to say to all mums: "You MUST have a documentary session of your family while it's all SO HARD!" You might not feel that you want evidence of the piles of laundry, the minefield of Lego in the hallway, the half-finished renovations or myriad other scenarios that often come with raising small people but I have never had a client regret investing the time to have this style of session done. Maybe you feel parenting young children is really hard (like me) or maybe you are a natural and you relish these days of small sticky hands, endless hugs and snacks. Whichever it is, once these days and those stages of development are gone you can never get them back.
