Ohio-Based Photographer Capturing Family and Sports in Natural Outdoor Settings

I'm Bethany, a family and sports team photographer located in central Ohio, the heart of apple orchards and corn fields. I love finding pictures in outdoor places: hiking through fields to find the sunlight, exploring gardens for those hidden spots, and recording all the stages of our lives.I am a wife and mother with Texas roots living in Ohio. I have a doctorate in Theatre Arts and have spent my younger years teaching high school and university theatre students. More recently, you might catch a glimpse of me in our local elementary schools, where I substitute occasionally.  I love getting to know the people of our community. In everything I have done, I have always had a camera in my hands.My grandfather was a studio photographer in the 1920s and, while his professional studio work was lovely, I've always been drawn to his outdoor, in-the-moment shots.  I take inspiration from the personality of his images, and I'm drawn to the living moments he managed to capture.  With each session, I am fully and completely focused on balancing both posed portraits and lifestyle, candid moments for you... a hundred years later.  Now I am excited to help capture your special moments.
