I am a lifestyle family, newborn and senior photographer based out of Seattle in Washington state, capturing organic and full-of-life images for families around the Greater Seattle area. My sessions are relaxed, laid-back and fun. I let kids be kids and their personalities shine. I will get your family to laugh, hug, play and simply enjoy your time together and I will be there to capture it all - the sound of your little one’s laughter, the smell of your new baby’s warm fuzzy hair. I am obsessed with capturing family connections in an authentic, vibrant and emotive way in our beautiful Pacific Northwest or in the comfort of your own home. Once upon a time, I was a research statistician and worked in clinical trials for a few years. After having my own children I often find myself astonished by how fleeting each stage of family life really is. My love for photography has changed my life, for the better. It slows me down and allows me to be much more aware and present in life. As a family and newborn photographer, my goal is to tell your family’s ordinary but extraordinary story through beautiful artistic images that will last a lifetime. When not photographing, you will find me embracing my awesome and chaotic life with my husband and our two daughters who keep us on our toes.

They have taught me so much about life and love. I don't make my bed every day. I sometimes forget to water my plants. I have a habit of looking for pretty light everywhere I go. I love spending time with friends. The beach makes me feel calm. I'm a proud Kiwi. I love to people watch and rocking my babies to sleep is the most beautiful part of my day. I believe that there is so much beauty in each family and that the everyday chaos should be embraced. I believe that life is beautiful, even with all its chaos, and I believe the imperfect should be celebrated. People come to me for a relaxed, authentic and love filled photo session. I love to photograph families in their own homes, the four walls in which they are most comfortable. You’ve put a lot of time into creating the home of your dreams. All I ask of you is that you show up as YOU. As a mother of four kids, I know that kids can have a mind of their own. This is why I never truly “plan” sessions. Your kids can be as wild and crazy as they like. It won’t phase me. The whole point of a lifestyle session is to photograph you exactly as you are. If that means kids want to be in your arms and snuggling the whole time, then that’s exactly how we’ll capture them. If your kids want to run and play, that’s great. We’ll photograph them having fun. I want you to know that I see the beauty in your family. You may look through galleries of other families and think that you can’t live up to that. That your life isn’t that pretty. But trust me, it is. You have a unique story to tell and it is just as worthy of being told as anyone else’s. I see it, and I want to create images where you can see it too.
