Netherlands Lifestyle Photographer Karen Velleman

I have a great job as a lifestyle photographer! I have been able to photograph so many people and families and several of my photos have been awarded international awards. Super cool! I photograph families in both a lifestyle and a documentary way. That is, in addition to capturing moments in an honest and artistic way, I also love capturing real moments. I am always inspired by you, the environment and the moment. I work passionately and am sharp when I take pictures of you. I take my work very seriously because I am someone who strives to take the best pictures. Although you will soon notice during photography, that result is often achieved with a lot of fun and pleasure.

Netherlands Lifestyle Photographer Jess van Ruiven

A lifestyle photographer a unique photography style, a little bit different, refreshing but above all Rebels. The photographer behind that camera: a 41-year-old red-haired curly ball listening to the name Jess van Ruiven. From Zaanse soil; mom of a teenager and in her twenties, married to the nicest guy in the world and settled in Heerhugowaard. I am a tea-leut, a dreamer, a collector of old photo cameras, ancient books and other old things. Everything has a story and a memory to cherish or pass on. After the Fotovakschool, I stopped with the 'applicable' photography rules and I drew my own Rebel plan. I love my freedom immensely, which is why I prefer to be on-site photography. In the forest or on the beach, get a breath of fresh air, enjoy the sun's rays or pound in the puddles of rain. I'm always looking for that one innovative creative picture to make and especially a busy bee with a lot of humor. I think it's fantastic to capture people in the photo as they are and especially as it is. To create a beautiful but above all a special, honest and pure memory for later. I think that is very important. Family photography and weddings are my favorite moments to capture. You can describe my photography style as lifestyle photography or documentary or reportage or journalistic photography, I just call it Rebel Shots, different than usual and yet just yourself!

Yvette Vlaar, Lifestyle Photographer of Netherlands and Amsterdam

Yvette Vlaar is a storytelling family photographer who lives in the Netherlands. She loves the daily things. As a mother of 4 growing kids, she knows how fast time goes. She likes to professionally record these ordinary special moments for you. So that for now and for later you have beautiful, honest images that keep the memory of "old days at home" alive. Because the small, normal things together make everyday life. That's how it really was. And that's more valuable than all those punctuated holidays, is not it? "There is nothing better than real life"

Indra Simons, Lifestyle Photographer for NL

The next word I learned after 'mommy' and 'daddy', was probably 'aperture'. My father is a photographer you see. And I spend quite a few hours in the darkroom watching the pictures he took showing up. But it was not until I was planning a trip to New York that I took an interest in photography myself. I borrowed my father's Pentax and asked him what exactly I should do with it, the day before leaving. Right. Not the best of my images, you can imagine ;-) So I took some photography classes and really got the hang of it. I developed an interest in people photography and documentary photography because I really like searching for the best possible images in a given situation, without interfering.

Corine Nap is a lifestyle photographer of the LSPA

Corine Nap, 32 years old and born on a farm in Ederveen. I live with my friend Bram and daughter Nine in Veenendaal. I am not the one that wanted to become a photographer as a child. I followed a studio in the hospitality industry and afterward an event organizer. I both liked it because I worked with people and it was about organizing, but about six years ago I really found my passion for photography. I am very happy about traveling! Our highlight? 2.5 months traveling through India, Sri Lanka, and the Philippines! Oja and we ♥ Colombia! Coffee and cakes are really my things. And wines too by the way ;-) All this preferably in combination with dear friends or family around me!

Charlene van der Gracht, lifestyle photographer from Netherlands

I am a lifestyle portrait photographer with a love for sincere emotion. I also can make a family document that shows how much love you spread. But more importantly, I'll make you realize that you also receive a lot in return from your loved ones. It is a lot of fun for me to be able to show you and your family the whole story of your day from a different perspective. That includes, of course, the laughter, the teasing, the giggles, and the tears. I see it and I capture it. Over the years I have really developed my own style. With my timeless images, you really relive the moments, even if you watch them again years later. In order to give you the best possible overview of my work, I would like to ask you to make a choice.

Nicole Langen Netherlands Lifestyle Photographer

I grew up with a mom as a photographer and have always had camera’s around me. My passion to make the clicks myself began at the age of 11. However, I studied economics and in my spare time liked to take the camera with me. After finishing 2 years of the Fotovakschool and shooting partttime besides working in management functions, I started my own business as a professional photographer and completely love it. I specialize in lifestyle photography and my main core business are preganncy-/newborn and babyshoots. I see moments, and I feel them. Those little in between moments - a smile or wink of the eye, a cuddle or touch - those unposed fractions of time, is what I want to capture for you.

Amsterdam Lifestyle Photographer, Daphne van Groeningen

My name is Daphne and I live with my husband and two little boys in a beautiful town near Amsterdam, The Netherlands. I studied photography for four years and I have been a professional photographer since 2010. I capture (family) life as it unfolds without my interference. I come from an artistic family and thanks to my Dad who always encourages me to look and cherish authentic moments whenever and wherever you are. I have heard about documentary family photography before I started my own family. I liked the idea, but it really came alive to me when I got my own family; the everyday chaos, the impact of taking care of kids, birth and trying to get your own mental health in balance. I totally became aware of the fastness how baby’s turn into toddlers and my toddlers soon into kids who go to school. I felt the urge to capture these precious moments. I don’t want to regret that I forgot all and took little memories of their childhood which will never come back. So I decided to grab may camera within the family realm and document it as much as I can. It’s a matter of the heart. That is what keeps me going. I would love to document your family one day as I know having kids are of the most precious gifts we can have.

Amsterdam Lifestyle Photographer Desiree van den Burg, of Noord Holland, Netherlands

From childhood on, I was often creative and I made my own jewelry and bags. These days I can express my creativity in photography. I think it is fantastic to capture emotion in an image and art to "capture" beautiful moments at the right time to be able to save forever. It started a few years ago when I left on a world trip. Backpack on the back, another backpack in the front and a large SLR camera. I took it all with me. And although I found that large camera very awkward to take with me, alongside all the other things that I had with me, my love for photography really started then. I was fascinated by the beautiful images and capturing the best memories I could save for later. In the meantime, I have invested in recent years to increase my photography knowledge. Last year I received my professional photography degree from The Photography Institute and followed various fun and educational photography courses and workshops that inspired me enormously to continue with photography.

Christie Agema, Lifestyle Photographer of Netherlands and also serving families in Overijssel

In the beginning, I almost only did posing work, also with children and yes even newborns. Had a posing bag (as it is called so nicely), countless hair bands, hats, and background cloths and so on. But something never clicked. I couldn't put my finger on it in the beginning. For me, the beautiful moments during a session were always the moments that parents had with their children when they were waiting. The hugs, chatting together. That was what I wanted to record, I wanted this. Just like I always did and still do with my own children. I only focus on documentary family photography (or day in the life reports): family, pregnancy, birth and newborn. Spontaneous, casual and pure photography that captures your life as it is. My wedding photography also has these words as a theme. Showing how the day really went; the emotions and the moments. What else can I tell you about me? I love cookbooks, I have a lot of them, I mainly bought some because of the photos in it. And one more thing about me...I love quotes! Those who follow me on my facebook page or my Instagram know this. I mainly use quotes to emphasize a photo or a series of photos. They can really give strength to a photo.

Portrait of Amsterdam Lifestyle Photographer Claudia Pauws, of Noord Holland, Netherlands

I'm Claudia! Family photographer Amsterdam, German, grew up in Dresden, lived in Berlin, followed the dance training, I have two children and I am very interested in psychology. I like pleasant crowds. You get that quickly when you grow up with 1 sister and 2 brothers in a small house. As a child, I did not always have a stable family situation. My father became very mentally ill in the young years. As a result, my mother was largely responsible for the care and maintenance of her children. That was not an easy time for our family. That is why I never expected that I would ever live in the Netherlands, be married to the sweetest man and have two super sweet children together. And especially with my husband, I can do the work that we love and that gives us energy. People mention that I am honest, always smile, friendly and make contact with children quickly and easily. I prefer to take photos that capture the small and big moments of a family in a real and casual way. The time with our family, children and loved ones is the most valuable thing there is. And unconditional love is the greatest good we can give our children. From experience, I know that living with small children is like a fast train. We love the moments together with our children, but often we lack the time and energy to capture these moments for later. But photos are indispensable. Because with photos we can later look back on the hectic and also so beautiful period in our lives. We can see how their children have grown and what we have all experienced. And not only that, these photos will last for generations later. With this, even our (great) grandchildren can see where their roots are. My greatest passions are people and their lives. That's why I like to read Humans stories in New York, Amsterdam ... I can really enjoy that. When I am not working, I often spend time with my children, I read books about (trauma) psychology, I listen to podcasts about science and marketing and I am cycling, home-fitness or at a dance class.

Belgium Lifestyle Photographer, Emilie Marchandise, from Wallonie.

My passion for photography began long ago when I was gifted a camera for my 18th birthday. From this day I traveled around the world with my camera and the beautiful landscapes and wonderful light inspired me to take pictures. Then, the joy of becoming a mother reinforced my artistic eye. I discovered the happiness of seizing the present moments with my children growing up: their games and laughter, their imagination, their joy of discovery and the variety of emotions I could feel. My passion for capturing raw emotion and true moments grew more and more! And little by little it became obvious that I wanted to live my passion and to tell unique stories to last a lifetime. So, I decided to quit my position of professor in biomechanics to become a professional family photographer.

Belgium Lifestyle Photographer, Ruth Wytinck, from Flanders

By taking photos of my sons, the value of small everyday moments really became clear to me. I photograph them during play and mischief, during fun moments and crying, during fraternization and quarrels. These photos say so much about them and their personality that I am sure that they will cherish these memories the most later. I also want to realize these memories with you. I live and work in Landegem near Ghent, but as a photographer I go everywhere. Feel free to contact me if you live in Antwerp, Ostend, Brussels, Kortrijk or Hasselt. A trip abroad is also perfectly possible.

East Flanders Lifestyle Photographer, Sven Soetens - BE

I am passionate about lifestyle family photography! You notice that when you see me working professionally. What do you get to see? A professional photographer who works professionally and efficiently, who knows how to behave correctly in every situation and who discreetly moves to take sneaky and almost invisible beautiful pictures for you. Someone who does not shy away from crawling or lying on the ground with one goal: the ideal photo.

Philippe Swiggers is a Lifestyle Photographer for Belgium families

You can describe my style as 'photojournalism'. Think of it as a documentary that I make of your story. Whether it is a wedding, a certain day in your family life or your company story. I don't like scenarios. I photograph people as they are, pure and real. I don't work with models or people who are used to standing in front of the camera. And that is what I see as a luxury. It is a challenge to constantly bring out the individuality and uniqueness of my couples, families, ... and show them in a beautiful report. A memento for decades, not only for themselves but especially for the people who are not even there yet.
