Lifestyle Photography in South Carolina
Mt. Pleasant, Myrtle Beach, Columbia, Charleston,
Would you like to find a South Carolina lifestyle photographer? Are you looking to capture your family in images that halt time and the feeling of the moment? You've come to the right place. When you bring one of our pro lifestyle photographers in to do your next family, couple, teen, or maternity portrait session, the photographer will record the true spirit of your family in photographs you will cherish for a lifetime.
Located in the bright southeast, South Carolina presents photo backdrop locations in surplus that will open up for extraordinary family photography. Roughly triangular in shape, the state’s coast is lined by the Atlantic Ocean and sandy beaches beginning from the north and heading southward. Towards the southern coast, it is here that a network of rivers and creeks meet, creating a mass of inlets, including the well known Sea Islands. Spectacular family photography opportunities are found at Hilton Head Island, an extravagant family vacation destination with a bounty of activities. Your family photographer will be delighted to capture your family with a panorama of seaside loveliness in view. Families that lean towards an outdoor lifestyle could possibly choose from the beaches that line the state like the Grand Strand and Myrtle Beach. Your coastline photo location investigation could also lead you through other beautiful areas, including elegant flower gardens, historic seaports and pre-war plantations. Heading towards the western inland of South Carolina will lead you to find rolling hills and mountainous regions that will bring tremendous life and pictorial majesty to your lifestyle family photography.

I love capturing REAL, DAY IN AND DAY OUT, MESSY, CRAZY, BEAUTIFUL LIFE in photographs. I love telling stories about the world around me through my photographs, especially the seemingly mundane daily life of family and love and friends and anything that is real and normal and part of the life we all live. Sometimes we forget to let every little memory seep into our souls. That's what photos do for me. They make me FEEL the memories. When I look back at our old family albums I am transported back in space and time to the actual moment happening. I know the sights, sounds, and smells. I'm drawn back into the memories. Especially the ones I forget to remember. I want my family to be able to FEEL their memories this way. And I also want YOU to be able to look back on your story and feel the memories. This is what I do. I help people document their stories. Their memories. Their lives. That's my goal. TO HELP YOU SEE THE VALUE OF DOCUMENTING YOUR LIFE.

Ben sent one OKCupid message in early 2016 about cupcakes, and that was all it took to sweep Rebecca off her feet. Oh, and a beard. A few dates, a proposal, and a wedding later, you're all caught up. We're music lovers, gamers, movie buffs and all around nerds—proud nerds. And while we enjoy these fun activities, our real passion is to love others. Just like you, we love our life despite its struggles and imperfections. We resist the social media image of the perfect life. That's why we celebrate real moments of real lives. Everyone has clutter, wrinkles, embarrassments—but no one is quite as good at being you as you. That's what we hope you see in our photos.
In addition to a fine arts degree in photography, I have trained with world-renowned portrait and dance photographers from Australia to New York City. I have recently been featured in international publications such as Grace Ormonde, Bride Magazine and the Knot and have received numerous awards from The Wedding Photojournalist Association. In 2010 I wrote a book, "Diving Doggies: A Celebration of Play Underwater" and in 2014 "Shake, Rattle and Shoot: The Business of Baby Photography." In 2018 we released a book, "Pigwrecked," photographed by Brooke Mayo and Illustrated by Candace Owens.
