Hi, I’m Marcella, a photographer by passion, a music lover, and fascinated by human beings. I treasure capturing spontaneous and intimate moments to create realistic and original photographs of kids, babies, families, mums-to-be, couples and women. During a relaxing and enjoyable encounter, I seek to register each gaze, smile and how emotion reveals itself to make an authentic and artistic life memoir. I capture those moments that happen spontaneously and mix them with natural poses that pop up and are carefully directed to reflect your traits and personality. With my photography, I want to celebrate the beauty of real life, where each detail tells about who we are and the legacy we are creating. Currently, I’m based in the picturesque West Beach in South Australia, where I wait to tell stories and celebrate life moments.
My name is Angelique but I answer to Angie, Mum and Darl and I am a born and bred Darwin woman. I have a wonderful husband in Alexander and we have 3 beautiful children, Geneva, Evangeline and Memphis (yes, GEM). I am the oldest of 8 children so please don't ever apologise for your child throwing a tantrum or not smiling or having to bribe them with lollies. I have seen it all. These are just the in-between moments that are also perfect, I'll show you. I practice as a Lawyer during the day, studying my Masters of Laws with a focus on Human Rights so I am passionate about equality, in every sense. I am an overly passionate person but in particular, female empowerment. I often hold free, group maternal sessions to empower women. I pursue natural light and love the warm glow of golden hour. During this romantic time, I like to remind you of what you have made beautiful whether that be your baby bump, your family, the love of your marriage, or just you.
