I’ve been a professional portrait photographer for many years working with many families and children of all ages, as well as plenty of babies and newborns. Unlike most family portrait photographers, I aim to avoid anything staged or forced. Instead, I photograph my portraits in the same natural and authentic documentary style. I shoot mostly in black and white during these family sessions as I find it helps to convey the personalities, atmosphere and fun over and above colour, which can often be distracting.
Lifestyle and Wedding Photography is my passion. At my young age, I delighted with the beauty of our world and always wanted to keep amazing memories for myself and others for a long time. Then I was managed to do this with the help of my «magic» camera by creating original and unique images that reflect the beauty of humanity and nature, the experiences we all feel and share. Now I am still falling in love with Lifestyle Photography that gives me a unique opportunity to visit beautiful places, meet interesting people and help them to capture those joys and happiness. I am lucky to do what I do!
I am Jess, a photographer in Bath, Somerset. I am also a first-time mum to my beautiful little Edward, a wife and cat mama to our feisty cat Agatha. I am a documentary-style family and lifestyle photographer and my sessions include Day In The Life, Families, Newborn and Maternity. I studied fine art at Edinburgh College of Art. I also studied documentary photography at the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD) during an exchange for 3 months.
