Mike Greener is an award-winning Bozeman photographer based in Montana and available for booking worldwide. He has been telling stories through a camera lens since 1999 when he picked up a second-hand camera and began taking photos in a high school art class. Soon after, he built a darkroom in his mom’s canned goods cellar and his visual exploration with the photographic medium was off to the races. With a camera to his eye, he was able to meet new people, explore new places and create lasting memories. This ignited a lifelong passion for visual storytelling. Needing some elevation in his life, Mike left the Chicago suburbs of his youth and went on to graduate from the University of Montana with a degree in Photojournalism. For thirteen years Mike worked as an award-winning photojournalist at newspapers throughout northern California and Montana. Throughout that time, he also traveled the world as a commercial fly-fishing photographer and wedding photographer. Mike now owns and operates Greener Visuals Photography, a full-service photography studio in Bozeman, Montana, specializing in wedding, lifestyle, portrait, and commercial photography. Utilizing his candid, creative photojournalistic approach, he captures real, intimate moments and emotions and reconnects people with the most treasured moments of their lives through storytelling photography.
