Born amidst the vivid landscapes of Brazil and finding a new home in the United States as a teenager, my journey has been rich with varied hues and narratives. I’m Ewerton Decastro, and today, from the picturesque confines of Cape Cod, I cherish the role of preserving the legacy of families through my portrait photography.

My path into the world of portraits wasn't always clear. I once Joined the Massachusetts State Police Department until a twist of fate, an injury, redirected my life's compass. During this transitional phase, I stumbled upon my calling—photography. Beyond the aesthetics and technicalities, I became deeply moved by people’s stories, emotions, and the relationships they cherished. This realization gradually shaped my unique approach to family portrait photography.

Over the past eight years, I have been privileged to frame the essence of over 300 families, translating their bonds, joys, and milestones into timeless images. I ventured into the acclaimed New England School of Photography to hone my skills. Under the guidance of luminary photographers like Nei Bernardes, Robinson Kunz, and Anderson Marques, I fine-tuned my ability to see and capture the unspoken bonds and tender moments of families.

Away from the limelight of my studio lights, I indulge in life's simple pleasures—diving into an engrossing book, getting lost in a movie, or, most importantly, creating memories with my beloved wife and our three wonderful children. Each moment with them reinforces the importance of preserving memories, a sentiment I bring into every portrait session.
