The Lifestyle Photographers Association® 2023 LIFESTYLE PRO AWARDS for:
1. Family Portraits
2. Solo Portraits (adults, teens, children)
3. Maternity Portraits
4. Couple Portraits
5. Pet Portraits*
The Lifestyle Pro Awards are not limited to entries from the current year. Members can enter their best work irrespective of the year (up to 25 images for FREE).
The Lifestyle Photographers Association Photography Awards will be presented as follows:
- If all three judges select the image, 45 points are awarded. (Gold**)
- If two judges select the image, 22 points are awarded.
The winning Lifestyle Pro Award images are honored in the Main Galleries, as well as in their own slider galleries in the Member Profiles.
*The Pet Portraits category is specifically for images that feature pets. The animal has to be the primary subject in the image, or needs to play a prominent role in the overall composition. Pet portraits do not have to be limited to traditional household pets, such as dogs or cats. You can submit images in which any type of pet is featured — including reptiles, fish, horses, rabbits, or any animal that someone may call their own.
**Gold badges are awarded to photographers whose image was chosen by all three judges. The original badge is awarded to photographers whose image was chosen by two out of the three judges.
TOP Lifestyle Photographer
Each year, one photographer is awarded the title of TOP Lifestyle Photographer. In order to determine the winner, the total number of points earned from the Lifestyle Pro Awards are combined across the following categories: Family, Solo, Maternity and Couple Portrait. Photographers can earn 45 points for every gold badge and 22 points for each original badge earned, so the best way to become the TOP Lifestyle Photographer is to submit as many entries as possible throughout the year. The Pet category awarded points do not count toward the TOP Lifestyle Photographer title.
TOP Pet Photographer
Starting in 2022, the TOP Pet Photographer is a title that is awarded annually to the photographer who earns the most points from badges collected from only the Pet category. As with other Lifestyle Pro Awards categories, photographers can earn 45 points for each gold badge and 22 points for each original badge earned.
