I'm Charis - I want others to see the beautiful magic in their ordinary moments. Lifestyle photography to me tells a real story. I want to showcase the beauty and story that lies in the little moments, the hugs, the snuggles, the giggles. Life while you're doing dishes, playing tag, or reading a story.

I have always been interested in photography - from a teen with a digital camera taking photos of all our family events. This grew after I became a mom and almost lost my first child before birth. After a NICU stay, I realized photos are one way to treasure the moments. So that no matter what happens there will always be memories.

Stories have always played an important part in my life and understanding of the word. I don't tell stories with words, I tell them with pictures.

Learning from other lifestyle photographers like Michelle Mckay, Leah O Connell and many more have helped refine and expand the view I have of how I do photography.
