Georgia, known for its geographic variety and mild climate, is a pleasant portrait location choice for many families. Because the geography is beautiful and diverse in Georgia, family photographers enjoy the many scenic backdrops to compliment their photos. In Georgia, beach family picture sessions are common. Travel along the coastline and you will see the beaches and barrier islands that provide breathtaking backdrops for family photos. The fertile soil of Middle Georgia has resulted in an abundance of beautiful countryside and rich farmlands to serve as beautiful settings for your family lifestyle pictures. With the mountains being a huge part of the geography in Georgia, family photographers are often able to capture the beauty of the Appalachians in their images. Georgia also enjoys the variety of four seasons. Wherever you elect to have your Georgia family photos created, the state provides endless possibilities for great pictures.

I started photography at the Art Institute back in 2003...in the days of film! I know, I know, the dark ages. I loved it, i felt at home there, developing and printing your own work...I mean, whaaat?! It was great, but I decided to leave and search for a more stable dependable job. Well, that never happened, and over the past few years I felt myself being pulled back into photography. I really enjoy meeting and working with families, and getting to see and show the crazy, messy, beautiful, chaotic uniqueness of each family.
Ben sent one OKCupid message in early 2016 about cupcakes, and that was all it took to sweep Rebecca off her feet. Oh, and a beard. A few dates, a proposal, and a wedding later, you're all caught up. We're music lovers, gamers, movie buffs and all around nerds—proud nerds. And while we enjoy these fun activities, our real passion is to love others. Just like you, we love our life despite its struggles and imperfections. We resist the social media image of the perfect life. That's why we celebrate real moments of real lives. Everyone has clutter, wrinkles, embarrassments—but no one is quite as good at being you as you. That's what we hope you see in our photos.

Adrienne Maples grew up drawing on the walls, performing in plays and making pretty pictures anyway she could. As a teenager, she received her first film camera and began learning the magical ways of the darkroom. More than 20 years have passed since she first fell in love with light, film and photography. Yet while digital technology has significantly changed the craft of photography, Adrienne remains true to its roots. Using light, creative composition and her Southern charm she creates timeless lifestyle portraits that keep her clients coming back year after year after year.
In addition to a fine arts degree in photography, I have trained with world-renowned portrait and dance photographers from Australia to New York City. I have recently been featured in international publications such as Grace Ormonde, Bride Magazine and the Knot and have received numerous awards from The Wedding Photojournalist Association. In 2010 I wrote a book, "Diving Doggies: A Celebration of Play Underwater" and in 2014 "Shake, Rattle and Shoot: The Business of Baby Photography." In 2018 we released a book, "Pigwrecked," photographed by Brooke Mayo and Illustrated by Candace Owens.
